Hello! Looking to buy the new Modern Warfare 2 and based off of past Call of Duty releases and the sales coming around for Steam/Battle Net it looks like MW2(22) isn't on sale anywhere yet. Any idea if in the past new COD releases went on sale a little later after the first day of these Autumn sales?
So, MW2019 is on a really good sale right now on Steam (67% off) and I have been wanting to buy this game for quite a while. Is it worth buying the game right now? I've read some other Reddit posts and watched some YouTube videos and even asked in the Discord servers, most of them say it is worth getting it now, but the only problem I'll face
1. darkfawful2. • 4 mo. ago. Besides the bad anti-cheat sysem and some bugs, there's not a lot wrong with the game. People always find something to complain about. They say they hate it, but put hundreds of ours into the game. They say they don't have time to do stuff in the game, but find the time to hate on the game online.
I've heard the opposite: They're starting to filter people out so they'll buy the next CoD game. If this CoD has a lot of things people want, with a free BR attached, they can see (similar to the battlefield games) that people are going to take one glance at the newest game, and then revert right back to this one.

I love it, but mind this:The 1.10 Modern Warfare 2 patched released on the 30th of January reduced my CPU FPS in Benchmark from 184 FPS (Average FPS 148) to 90 FPS (Average FPS 90). In 6vs6 I now have only 70-80 FPS, with lows of 45 FPS). I have an OCed i7-8700k and 2x 16GB 3600Mhz RAM.

I think you may be able to get a free trial on one of the streaming services but I don't think any decent ones will be free. Could be wrong but seems far fetched to me.
Yes, the game is super fun. I almost didnt buy it because i saw people complaining, but im happy i didnt listen to them and made my own decision. Sure there are stuff that needs fixing etc but imo the actual good gameplay is the thing that makes me play more. 1.
