If you don’t specify a coordinate, the command will use your current position in the game. Examples Example in Java Edition (PC/Mac) To set the world spawn point to your current location in Minecraft Java Edition (PC/Mac): /setworldspawn. To set the world spawn point to an absolute position of (-113, 92, 211) as the (x, y, z) coordinate:

Teleports "SomePlayer" to their saved spawn point and dimension, or worldspawn if none found. /spawn @e: Teleports all loaded entities their own saved spawn point and dimension, or worldspawn if none found. This command should not be available to players in general, unless a gamerule is also introduced to allow something like just using /spawn

It's because you're executing the spawnpoint command inside a block. If you mean for the command to set the player's spawn of where they are currently, just type in the following command. /execute @p ~ ~ ~ /spawnpoint @p ~ ~ ~

The give command allows you to give yourself any item you like. There's a teleport command in case you die a long way away from your spawn point. You can even change your spawn point anytime, without the need for a bed! It's important to note that not all Minecraft commands are compatible with every platform. If you want the player to be teleported downwards or the other direction, use negatives (-). n is the number of blocks they will be teleported. If you just want to teleport a player to a single location, press (Fn +)F3 where you want the player to teleport. Then, look at XYZ (start of second part). Remember the numbers there, or if needed, type
A compass (that hasn't been assigned to a lodestone) always points to the world spawn point. Doing the commands /gamerule spawnRadius 0 then /kill. If commands are disabled, remove all the grass blocks in the 21×21 spawn area (or place a block above them to make them invalid), make sure the individual spawn point is disabled, and die.
This is a rather simple mod introducing two commands to set a static spawnpoint and to teleport to it. Yes, I know you can set this in minetest.conf, however, doing so causes the spawnpoint to be the same across all of your worlds (very inconvenient). Instead of using minetest.conf, this mod stores the spawnpoint (and other settings) within the vQsB.
