EL/monk or Monk/E are the best & fastest for clean Charrs pack, especially with some pcons (cupcakes & eggs) Necro is average, slow at start, really fast at end. Safe class for Survivor title (imo) Warrior is really slow and requires a decent/good stuff for starting to be fast. PS : getting /R on all class is really a bad choice.
Cons: low damage, lack of utility/boons for the group. Ranger: A solid profession in PvE. Pros: Nature spirits, Spotter, boons output. Cons: Average damage. Revenant: A solid support in PvE. Pros: Alacrity, Provide "high" life leeching to the group. Cons: lack of flexibility due to legend skillsets, average damage at best.
Revenant, Ranger, Guardian, Mesmer, Necromancer and Warrior are the class that have group synergic build. In fractal Guardian and Revenant are pretty popular, but it really depend on the group. Elementalist, Thief and Engineer are good profession, but they don't provide as much buffs for the group.
A solid tank build can withstand almost any foe. Tanking is an "area denial" control -strategy in PvE in which a player deliberately exploits target fixation: that is, they draw-in the enemies’ attention (or “ aggro ”), and attempt to "ball them" with snares by making themself the sole focus of their attacks. This build uses blood magic to steal life from enemies. A Blood Magic necromancer tends to be very self-sufficient; dealing damage and healing the caster simultaneously. They can also do their part as a support hero, with skills like Blood Bond and Blood Ritual, or with wells such as Well of Blood or Well of Power. Ele and Ranger are the two best so from there you can figure out how you want to go. Ranger, by far. Durable, good single target damage, largest range, best weapon from /bonus, and ofc there's the pet too. Ranger for armor, pet, and ranged damage.

Guardian & Necromancers are the 2 most played classes out there, probably due to both being incredibly strong in all content and also for satisfying either that edgy/dark vibe or holy knight kind of fantasy. -Guildwars2- • 2 yr. ago. Yeah I'm thinking I will go guardian and have necro as my alt toon. Thank you so much!
Guardian (any spec), Necro (any spec), Engineer (Mechanist), Ranger (Soulbeast). One class that I think is much easier than people give credit is Mechanist. Heal mech especially is mostly using mech skills and auto attacking. With the occasional switching to heal kit to burst heal when needed. Various bow builds, trapper, touch Necro skills, spear builds, scythe builds, dagger spam, pet focused, spirit spam, hammer (thumper) build, whirling defense farming, etc. Also with Elementalist you can focus on builds for different elements to change things up or mix together with Master of Magic or go E/Mo healer. Reply. General secondary professions. A. Secondary professions for an Assassin. D. Secondary professions for a Dervish. E. Secondary professions for an Elementalist. M. Secondary professions for a Mesmer. Shiny is probably elementalist. Fun is subjective. I find elementalist the most fun. If you're looking for a combination of both flashy and mobile I'd suggest dagger/dagger elementalist. Shmako • 9 yr. ago. What other people find fun, you might find mind-numbingly boring. You're best off trying out several classes and seeing what you prefer
Build 1: 55 Monk. Certainly a top choice among the players, 55 Monk is really one of the most powerful and popular builds available in the Guild Wars 1 game. It is named after the ability to survive attacks with up to 55 damage, making it an excellent choice for farming and solo content. This build utilizes the Monk profession's high levels of
